On Thursday 16 June 2011, the Vinnies CEO Sleepout takes place in capital
cities across Australia. The event challenges business and community leaders to
experience homelessness first-hand for one night, raise important money, and with
fresh insight go on to effect change in social opinions on this serious issue. All money
raised goes directly towards the ongoing provision of Vinnies’ homeless services
across the country.
I am delighted to announce that I have registered to take part, and will be spending
one very cold night in my sleeping bag with other high profile QLD CEOs in South
Bank’s Piazza. I need to raise a total of at least $5000 from sponsorships (other CEOs
have generated up to almost $13,000 each so far!) so was hoping to spread the
word to collect sponsors and supporters of this amazing challenge for an extremely
worthwhile cause.
